Getting it done late on Wednesday…but done just the same…This just in…The Android is still very good…two repeaters tie atop the Running Back board…200 is a big number…a missed kick costs Husslers…Top defenses give up 7 or less…A Back-2-Back champ…an historic Chumping…Our Chump Survivor Final is set…And 2 teams have locked the playoffs…although none have locked up any titles…lets run it down…
Aaron Rodgers (AND)
Aaron Rodgers is back to just being a machine week in and week out…especially when playing at home…after torching the Vikings for 315 yards last week…The Android hosted the Eagles to 341 yards on 22 of 36 passing (61.1%)…only half as many Touchdowns with 3…but he did add 32 yards on 3 carries (10.7 ypc) and had no give-aways…extending his streak to 322 passes thrown at Lambeau Field without an interception…that set a new NFL record…passsing TDQBITU™ previous best of 288 straight passes at home without an Interception…32 points made him the only Quarterback to reach the 30 point plateau…and he claims this award in back-2-back weeks…his 3rd Player of the Week award on the year…it is the 6th trophy on the year for Armed N Dangerous…
LeVeon Bell (BAT)
We had a tie for the Running Back title in Week 11 between our Week 1 and Week 4 winners…Jamaal Charles exhausted the Seahawks defense…carrying 20 times for 159 yards and 2 Touchdowns…then pulling in his 2 Targets for another 19 yards in the air…LeVeon Bell took the field on Monday Night against the Titans and carried the load himself to the tune of a league leading 204 yards on 33 carries…finding the endzone only 1 time…and then finding 2 catches for 18 yards of his own to match Charles effort at 29 points…Normally we go to Touchdowns to decide a winner…but instead we will go to Turnovers…Jamaal Charles coughed up a Fumble vs. a clean game by Bell…if he held on to the ball…he would have held on to this title…it is the 2nd award for Bell…the 4th Running Back award and 7th trophy over all for Bay Area Thrashers…
Mike Evans (BBA)
13 different Wide Receivers made it to the 20 point barrier in Week 11…but only 1 reached the 2 Century mark…Mike Evans hauled in 7 of his 9 Targets (77.8%) against the Redskins for a league leading 209 yards…including 2 Long Ball Touchdowns of 36 and 56 yards to put the game away…scoring the most points of any TBFL player in Week 11 with 39…Evans is the 1st rookie in 16 years to post 3 consecutive games with at least 100 receiving yards and a Touchdown…Over those 3 weeks…he is 3rd in Receptions (21) and leads the league with 458 receiving yards and 5 Touchdowns…it is the 1st Player of the Week award for Evans…and the 3rd trophy on the year for Bubba Army…
Matt Bryant (PGL)
Only 2 Kickers managed to turn their Week 11 scores up to 11…Randy Bullock followed the true Golden Path…hitting on 2 Extra Points and 3 Field Goals…including a 50 yard bonus earner…he had a 6th Kick Opportunity from 52 yards that fell No Good however to end right on the Spinal Tap limit of 11…Matt Bryant had 5 kick chances…But he reached the unlucky score of 13 by hitting on 4 Field Goals…and what will prove below to be the most important Extra Point of Week 11…it is Bryant’s 2nd Kicker of the Week award…and the 3rd overall trophy on the year earned for Playground Legends…who still have not been to the podium since September 22…59 days and counting…
Arizona Cardinals (FUD)
Only 4 Defenses found their way to 2-digit scoring in Week 11…and none gave anything back to the other side…The Dolphins started things on Thursday Night getting 2 Sacks and a Safety while holding the Bills out of the endzone to reach 10 points…The Chargers matched the effort against the Raiders getting 2 Sacks and a Fumble Recovery while holding them to only 6 points to reach 13…The Texans gave up 7 to the Browns…but they matched the 2 Sacks and found 2 Turnovers to edge ahead at 14 points…The Cardinals fought a defensive battle with the Lions…and ultimately outlasted them…giving up only 6 points…while finding 4 Sacks and an Interception from Matt Stafford to take the award with 15 points…it is the 1st Defense Award for the Cards and the 3rd trophy on the year for Fudgie Whales…
Team of the Week
Playground Legends set the bar at 116 after the 4pm games on Sunday…Bay Area Thrashers appeared to be playing for a 2nd straight Chump score sitting at 55 going into Monday Night…but a Steeler explosion nearly doubled their score ending just short at 108…Bubba Army was at 107…an early Steelers Pick-6 had them at 122…but the Titans crawled back into the game taking away the low score bonus and the Army ended 1 point shy at 115…X-Factor had the best shot to take over going into Monday…sitting at 111 with Martavius Bryant and his 20 point per game average still to play…Bryant pulled in his 1st 2 targets for 11 yards…then never found another catch for the entire night ending X-Factor 2 points short at 114…Playground Legends wins this award in back-2-back weeks for the 1st time since Weeks 6 & 7 of the 2005 season…it is their 13.33 time winning it for the franchise…
Chump of the Week
As stated above…it appeared on Sunday as if this was going to be a head-2-head match-up for the Chump Title…UO Grandmasters managed only single digit scoring from 5 starting positions…but still held an 18 point lead on Bay Area Thrashers 73-55…that all ended on Monday Night though when Kevin’s Steelers went off for 53 points and within a Reuben Randle roster rotation of claiming Team of the Week…UO managed the lowest roster efficiency (73.0%) on the lowest Possible Points (100) for the weekend…this is their 50th Division Loss…they are the 3rd team overall and 2nd fastest to reach the mark with 94 games played (53.2% Loss Rate)…they have now tied the Warriors for 1st place with the 20th Chump Score of their history…
Chump Survivor
Average scoring continued its yo-yo pattern dropping 14 points this week back down to 102…Runs N Throses was the only team left in contention to reach that mark…Husslers and Money Inc. ran neck and neck for the last slot in our Chump Survivor final…but it was the previously mentioned missed Field Goal by Randy Bullock that took Husslers from edging ahead to 94 to falling 4 points behind at 89 (How does it feel!)…Money Inc will try to be the 1st team to strip the Chump Survivor title away from the Buccaneer Division in Week 12…
Notes & Numbers
Runs N Throses victory over Warriors ends Riley’s Win Streak at 7 Games…and is Throsers 50th Division Win…they are only the 2nd team to reach that Milestone taking 94 games played to reach the mark…
Hurricanes 112 points scored in the loss to X-Factor allowed them to reach 10,000 points scored in the Regular Season…they are the fastest to ever reach the mark with 89 games played (112.4 ppg)…7 games faster than X-Factor who had taken the title with 96 games played in Week 5…
Bubba Army reached their 120th All-Time win (51.78% Win Rate)…while Husslers fell to their 30th All-Time Loss in their 50th TBFL Game played (60.0 % Loss Rate)…
Jonas Gray scored 4 Rushing Touchdowns on Sunday Night…matching the rest of the entire league…as only 3 other players had Rushing Scores on Sunday for a total of 4 Touchdowns (Jamaal Charles [2], Knile Davis, and Eddie Lacy)…
The Rams have only 4 wins on the year…but they now have taken down 3 of the NFL’s Final 4 from 2013…getting upset victories against the Broncos…Seahawks…and 49ers…all within the last 5 games…
Playoff Picture
With the bottom of the Storm and Bandit Divisions playing spoiler this week…Fudgie Whales and Playground Legends now find themselves in the mix…while Money Inc and Husslers are pushed back out…
If the Playoffs started today:
#1 Seed - BAT (8-3-0) - Div Champion (by H2H win over RNT) (Guaranteed Playoffs) #2 Seed - RNT (8-3-0) - Div Champion (Guaranteed Playoffs) #3 Seed - FUD (5-6-0) - Div Champion (by 29 pts over MNY) #4 Seed - WAR (7-4-0) - Wildcard #5 Seed - PGL (6-5-0) - Wildcard (by H2H win over AND) #6 Seed - AND (6-5-0) - Wildcard
Storm
Bay Area Thrashers Week 11 win over UO Grandmasters:
1) Eliminated Erik from the Storm Division title race (3 back…2 to play)…
2) Punched their ticket to the Playoffs…no team on the outside can currently reach 8 Wins…
3) Allowed them to currently maintain the #1 Seed by head-2-head win over Runs N Throses in Week 8…
4) Made their Magic Number 1 to guarantee the Storm Division Title…
Legends and Armed N Dangerous both sit 2 games back with 2 to play…If Armed N Dangerous were to win out and Thrashers lose out…Thrashers would finish ahead of them on Division Record (3-3 vs. 2-4)…this means Miller is also eliminated from title contention…
If Legends were to win out and Thrashers lose out…Legends would finish ahead on Division Record (4-2 vs. 3-3) and steal the crown away…but would lose the #1 Seed to an 8 Win Runs N Throses due to their Week 7 head-2-head loss…
Buccaneer
Runs N Throses Week 11 win over Warriors:
1) Punched their ticket to the Playoffs…no team on the outside can currently reach 8 Wins…
2) Allowed them to currently maintain the #2 Seed…
3) Made their Magic Number 1 to guarantee the Buccaneer Division Title…
Runs N Throses has a 1 game + tiebreak cushion for the Buccaneer Division title…they will have to lose out and Warriors win out to change the outcome…If Warriors were to claim the title…they would hold a tiebreak over a 9 win Thrashers team for the #1 Seed by their Week 10 head-2-head victory…
Bandit
Things are still up in the air here…but with no better than 7 Wins possible…the Bandit Champion will be the #3 Seed…Fudgie Whales and Bubba Army both won from the bottom of the bracket in Week 11 forcing a 3-Way tie at 5-6 for the Division lead…Husslers lost head-2-head to both Money Inc and Fudgie Whales removing them from the running…Whales and Money Inc split their games…they both have a 3-1 Division Record…so we go to points…where Fudgie Whales currently has a 29 point advantage (1,171 to 1,142) to hold the title…
Bubba Army sits 1 back with 2 to play…but cannot take the title even if they win out to finish 6-7…Either Whales or Money beating Husslers would leave that team at 6-7…but with a better Division Record (4-2 vs. 3-3)…Bubba Army winning out and Husslers winning out would give the Division title to Husslers who would finish 7-6…1 game ahead of Bubba Army due to their head-2-head win on a Blocked Field Goal in Week 3 (I knew that would haunt me)…
Wildcards

X-Factor has head-2-head wins over UO Grandmasters…Money Inc…& Fudgie Whales…but head-2-head losses to Armed N Dangerous…Playground Legends…& Husslers…a 7 Win X-Factor team would beat out a 7 Win Warriors team on Division Wins (4-2 vs. 3-3)…

Empire Cup
BBA (4-7-0) HUR (2-9-0)
Hurricanes sits 4 games behind the 6 Win teams with 2 to play and cannot make the playoffs…Bubba Army could reach 6 Wins if they were to win out…but lost head-2-head to both Armed N Dangerous and Playground Legends and therefore could not unseat either at 6 Wins…Both will be playing spoiler from here on out…
