People get this confused every year so here is the annual clarification…
Up till 9:00pm EST on Wednesday you can enter selections for the ONE request you will receive based on Waiver Standings Order (See STANDINGS Tab above, or the complete breakdown on this Page Here).
So if you want to drop say…a washed up QB like …say Brett Favre…..but you are not sure which players may be selected ahead of you because you were not the team with the lowest total points and also the lowest roster efficiency this week, you may want to make multiple selections like this:
Selection 1 - Add - Barry Sanders - Drop - Brett Favre Selection 2 - Add - Emmitt Smith - Drop - Brett Favre Selection 3 - Add - Ricky Watters - Drop - Brett Favre
In each scenario, you are dropping Favre. If no one has selected Sanders by your pick, you will get Sanders. If Sanders is selected before your pick, you would get your next choice in Smith. If both Sanders and Smith were selected, you would get Watters.
Do Not Do This:
Selection 1 - Add - Barry Sanders - Drop - Brett Favre Selection 2 - Add - Emmitt Smith - Drop - Tim Tebow Selection 3 - Add - Ricky Watters - Drop - Carson Palmer
Under this scenario if Sanders is available, you will get Sanders and Drop Favre. If Sanders was already selected, you will now get Smith and Drop Tim Tebow, your second selection in whole. If both Sanders and Smith were already selected you would then get Ricky Watters and drop Carson Palmer, your third selection in whole.
Any second or third choice selections you make here -DO NOT- roll over to the first-come-first-serve selection period that begins right after these waivers process at 9:00pm EST on Wednesday and ends at 9:00pm EST on Friday. You will have to make any second selections manually after that period begins.
