Yeah it’s going up late on Thursday…deal with it…Can You Say POINTS!…There may be a few hundred extra laying around on my bench if you need some…How big a week is it when a QB throwing 5 TD’s is not that exceptional?…We get Career Records broken…Team Records Broken…NFL Records Broken…We get a pair of Back-2-Back award winners…Streaks come to an end…100 is a lot of anything…Milestones are reached…lets get going…
Aaron Rodgers (PGL)
2 Different Quarterbacks made it over the 30 point line in Week 3…After ripping the Titans in Week 2 with 1 Rushing Touchdown and 2 Passing Touchdowns…Cam Newton did it again aginst the Saints in Week 3…It is the 25th time in his 65 game career (38.5%) to both Run and Pass for a Touchdown in the same game…20 completions on 31 passes (64.5%) for 315 yards and no give-aways was good enough for a 119.7 Quarterback Rating…the 33 yards earned on his 3 runs capped out the Sunday lead with 32 points…On Monday Night against the Chiefs…The Android ran the Green Bay offense like the machine he is…Rodgers completed 24 of 35 passes (68.6%) for 333 yards and a league high 5 Touchdowns with 0 give-aways on route to a Quarterback Rating of 138.5…16 Rushing Yards on 2 carries ended his week at 37 points…It is Rodgers 1st Quarterback of the Week award on the year…and the 2nd trophy earned for Playground Legends…
Devonta Freeman (UOG)

A.J. Green (UOG)
3 Wide Receivers put down some 40’s in Week 3…Julio Jones led the league with a career high 20 Targets…he pulled in 12 of those for 164 yards (13.7 YPC) and 2 Touchdowns against the Cowboys to reach 40 points…He has set a new NFL record with 34 receptions in the 1st 3 Weeks of the season and is on pace to break the Season Reception record…Steve Smith actually led the league with 13 Receptions this week on 17 Targets (76.5%)…he finished with 186 yards…the 3rd highest game in his career and the most since 2006 (189, Week 6)…2 Touchdowns of his own brought the old man up to 43 points…tying the Armed N Dangerous Team Record (Reggie Wayne, 2006 Week 8)…A.J. Stephen Gostkowski (PGL)
4 Kickers made our 11 point target in Week 3…Dan carpenter had 8 Kick Opportunities against the Dolphins…he was perfect on 5 Extra Points and Field Goals from 26 and 51 yards…but missed a 54 yard try that would have took him to 16 points…instead he fell back to 11…Josh Brown and Steven Hauschka both had 6 Kick Opportunities in their games…both followed the Golden Path hitting 3 Field Goals and 2 Extra Points to reach 11…Brown then added an Extra Point to end on 12…while Hauschka added another Field Goal to end on 14…Week 2 Award Winner Stephen Gostkowski was perfect on 9 Kick Opportunities against the Jaguars…he hit 3 Field Goals…then doubled up with 6 Extra Points to end the day at 15 points…it is the 4th Kicker score of 15 or more points already this season…Gostkowski is the 1st Player to win awards in Back-2-Back weeks…and it is his 2nd Kicker of the Week award…it is the 3rd trophy on the year for Playground Legends…
Seattle Seahawks (HUR)
The Broncos, Bills and Eagles all took different routes to the same 15 point result in Week 3…The Broncos managed 4 Sacks…3 Turnovers…a Blocked Kick…and had 2 Shut-Out quarters allowing only 12 points to the Lions…The Bills dominated the Dolphins with a scoreless half getting 2 Sacks…and 3 Interceptions including a Pick-6…before finally relenting 14 points in the 2nd Half…The Eagles had 1 Sack…4 Turnovers…and an 89 yard punt return Touchdown…against the J-E-T-S…and held on to beat them…tying an NFL record going 10-0 lifetime against the Franchise…but none of them pitched The Shutout…in a Must-Win Division game against the reigning TBFL Champs…Hurricanes Seahawks squad stifled the Bears…only 2 Sacks were recorded…but they held the Midway Monsters to only 48 Net Passing Yards on the day…and forced them to Punt on an all 10 of their possessions…returning 1 of them for a 105 yard Touchdown…the Shutout brought them to 23 points…secured Hurricanes win…and snapped the Bears streak of 194 straight games without being shut out…It is the 1st Defense of the Week award for the Seahawks…and the 1st trophy of the year for the Hurricanes…
Team of the Week
It was a 2-Horse race this week between 2 Storm Division Teams playing head-2-head…After early Sunday action…Eric had the advantage 104 to 97 even after eating a Goose Egg from Tyler Eifert…Huge games from Larry Fitzgerald and Steven Hauschka pushed Kevin ahead Sunday Afternoon 145 to 126…but it would prove not nearly enough once Sanders brought it to only a 5 point advantage on Sunday Night 145 to 140…Charles’s Monster Monday sealed the deal 170 to 145…145 Points is the 2nd Most Points Scored in a Loss…and 315 is the 2nd Most Combined Points of All-Time…170 Points ties as the 7th highest point total of all time and is a new Team Record for the Grandmasters…ending their Regular Season losing streak at 6 games…and finally claiming the 100th Regular Season Win for the Franchise…It is their 1st Team of the Week on the year…and their 15th time claiming the title for the Franchise…ending the league’s longest streak without winning the award at 72 Weeks (2009 Week 9)…
Chump of the Week
Back-2-Back Chump of the Week scores…it last happened Weeks 8 & 9 of 2014 (By Yours Truly)…but had never happened to Money Inc before…their worst span previously was a 1 week gap taking the ‘Prize’ in Weeks 9 & 11 of 2010…The really bad news for Tim here is that even without taking -11 from the Dolphins D…76 points was still 12 away from the next lowest score…and there is nothing on his bench that could make up any of the difference…In a week where NFL scoring was at an unusual high water mark…The Average Potential Score was 144 Points…and Money Inc’s Potential Score was 64 points below that…it is the 2nd Chump of the Week on the year for Money Inc…their 16th time claiming the award in 185 Regular Season games played (8.65%)…
Chump Survivor
Money Inc going Back-2-Back means we get our 1st team to be eliminated without earning Chump of the Week…Average scoring jumped 14 points to 115 this week…3 teams fell below that threshold…but Playground Legends and Warriors Potential Scores were below it as well…Warriors lasts 1 week longer than they did in 2014…exiting the contest with 88 points…the highest Week 2 cut off score since the tournament began in 2012…

Fudgie Whales 116-65 victory over Money Inc is their 25th Win in Division Play…taking 43 games played to reach the milestone (58.1% Win Rate)…the loss makes Money Inc the 4th team to record 100 Regular Season Losses…they are the 2nd fastest to reach the milestone taking 184 games played (54.3% Loss Rate)…
Hurricanes 127 points scored against Runs N Throses makes them the Fastest Team to reach 5000 points scored in Divisional Games…needing only 43 games played to reach the mark (116.3 PPG)…5 full games faster then the previous Record Holder X-Factor…
In the Brother’s War…Josh’s win over Mike is his 2nd straight victory in the series…and evens the feud at 8-8…X-Factor is on a 4 game Regular Season Win Streak…and has a ‘Perfect Record’ after 3 Weeks for the 4th straight season (3-0, 3-0, 0-3, 3-0)…
PS.
Just realized I forgot something…I did not do the full investigation…but I will go out on a limb and say that 166 Points left on my bench HAS to be a new Record…If I had started my exact opposite lineup…meaning I bench Julio Jones and his 40 points…take the 0’s from Brees not playing and not having another kicker…then I win this week 147-132…not really a bad-beat like Week 2…I will have to build myself a Moron banner…
