3 Weeks in a row with the article on time…we celebrate with some ice cold 40s…Players of the Week set a pile of Personal Bests…Kickers lose sight of the path…record streaks get extended for Champs and Chumps…and new TBFL Records are claimed…

Players of the Week

Russell Wilson (BBA)

3 Quarterbacks reached the 30 point barrier in Week 3…Deshaun Watson (FUD) completed 25 of 34 (73.5%) passes for 351 yards and 3 Touchdowns with no give-aways to post the highest Quarterback Rating of all ACTIVE players at 135.8…he added 17 more yards on the ground but gave back a Fumble to end at 30.35 points…Patrick Mahomes (BAT) continued his effortless dominance going 27 for 37 for his LOWEST output of the year…ONLY 374 yards…and 3 more Touchdowns…(Mahomes has now thrown at least 2 Touchdowns in 14 straight games)…to total out at 31.60 points…Russell Wilson (BBA) had the most completions on the week (32) on the most attempts in his career (50) finishing the day at 406 yards against the Saints for 4 Touchdowns…2 thru the air and 2 on the ground…to total out at 45.40 points…it is the 8th highest QB score ever posted in the TBFL…

Alvin Kamara (BAT)

3 Running Backs made it over 24 points in Week 3…after posting only 2 100 yard games and 4 Touchdowns in his career prior to this season…Week 2 winner Dalvin Cook (GWF) has now had 3 100 yards games and 4 Rushing Touchdowns in 3 games this year…110 yards and a score against the Raiders with 4 Receptions on 5 Targets for 33 yards brought him to 24.30 points…after a down week against the Buccaneers…Week 1 winner Christian McCaffrey (MNY) posted the highest Rushing Total of the week at 153 yards with a Touchdown against the Cardinals…3 Receptions for 35 more yards thru the air totaled him out 27.80 points…Alvin Kamara (BAT) also took a break in Week 2 against the Rams…but bounced back in Week 3 with 69 yards (15 year old me giggles) on the ground including a 1 yard Touchdown plunge…and then continued his streak of having a Reception in every game of his career…tacking on 9 of them for 92 more yards including a 29 Yard score to close out the 1st half and bring him to a final score of 37.10 points…

Mike Evans (BAT)

4 Wide Receivers made their way to 30 points in Week 3…Tyler Lockett (WAR) set 3 Personal Records on 14 Targets…11 Receptions…and 154 yards…an 8 yard Touchdown brought him to 32.40 points…Cooper Kupp (XFA) set 2 Personal Records with 12 Targets and 11 Receptions…he reached 3-digits with 102 yards and added 2 Touchdowns to end the day at 33.20 points…Keenan Allen (FUD) led all Wide Receivers for the week with 13 Receptions on 17 Targets for a Personal Record 183 yards…2 Touchdowns brought him over the 40 point barrier at 43.6 points…now the 12th highest Receiver score in TBFL history…Mike Evans (BAT) was not the most efficient catching only 8 of his 15 targets…but he piled on 190 yards and reached a Personal Record 3 Touchdowns to lead the week with 45.00 points…now the 9th highest Receiver score in TBFL history…

Greg Zuerlein (WAR)

Week 3 was unkind to the Kickers of the TBFL…Da Bears have continued to roster Mike Badgley for 3 straight games…even though they have left a Drop-Add unused each week and he has not played a single snap for the season (spoke too soon..extending that streak 1 more week against the Army sounds good)…the other 11 starters missed a total of 6 Kicks this week with nobody getting to 2-digit scoring…Harrison Butker (BAT) got 6 Kick Opportunities hitting on 3 of 4 Extra Points and 2 Field Goals of 36 and 42 yards to reach 8.20 points…Greg Zuerlein (WAR) had 5 Kick Opportunities…he nailed 2 Extra Points and 2 of 3 Field Goals including a bonus earner of 53 yards to get to 8.30 points and snag the title…

Chicago Bears (BAT)

4 Defenses made their way to 2-digit scoring in Week 3…the Buffalo Bills (RNT) posted 2 Sacks…2 Picks…and 2 Strips to end on 10.00 points…in the same TBFL matchup…the Green Bay Packers (HUR) reached their 3rd straight 2-digit score with 2 Strips…1 Pick…and 6 Sacks on Joe Flacco to reach 12.00 points…continuing the “WHOEVER PLAYS MIAMI” theme…the Dallas Cowboys (MNY) sacked Josh Rosen 3 times including a Fumble Recovery…they held the Fins to only 6 Points to get the low score bonus and total 14.00 points…the Chicago Bears (BAT) started Monday Night with a 37 yard Pick-6…then added on 4 Sacks…2 Strips..and 2 more Picks to win the week at 20.00 points…

While not quite as explosive as the 2018 Season…5 Starting Players have managed to cross the 40 point barrier now in 3 games played…

Team of the Week

Run N Throses took the early lead on Thursday Night with 15.20 points…in the Sunday AM frame Gorilla Warfare was the biggest beneficiary climbing to the top spot with 97.90 points…after the PM games…this contest was over as Bay Area Thrashers had reached 168.70 points in the Battle of the Beveridges (Welcome to the Storm Division Dave!)…on Monday Night Football they used the Defense of the Week as a 20 point bonus to climb to a New TBFL Record 188.70 points…this extends Thrashers record for the Most Team of the Week awards to 36 in their 250th Regular Season Game played for a Champ Rate of 14.40%…they last won the title 4 games ago when they set the previous TBFL scoring Record of 186.40 in Week 13 of 2018…

Chump of the Week

After a bagel from their Titans Defense on Thursday Night…Bubba Army took the early lead in this race…the Sunday AM frame saw them still in the bottom spot with only 17.40 points…at the end of the Sunday PM frame…UO Grandmasters had posted 4 players under 8 points to sit on the bottom at 38.35 points…in Sunday Night action their 1st and 2nd round picks combined for only 15.90 more points…Allen Robinson added 12.00 more points on Monday Night but still ended in last place at 66.25 points…unfortunately for Erik…12 of 18 roster slots finished under 5 points scored…so this was 91.3% of his highest possible total of 72.55…still not enough to have passed Runs N Throses at 74.05…this title extends UO Grandmasters record for the Most Chump of the Week awards to 26 in 264 Regular Season Games played for a Chump Rate of 9.85%…

Notes & Numbers

Hurricanes All-Play record on the Season sits at only 4-29 (.121)…but they still managed to get the win over Runs N Throses 88.75 to 74.05…this extends their streak to 3 straight wins over RNT..and extends RNT’s losing streak to 8 games…tying their Franchise Record from the 2012 Season…

Bay Area Thrashers 188.70 to 108.85 victory over his brother makes them the 1st team to win a Division Game over Da Bears…the combined score of 297.55 points is the 8th highest of all time…the win moves them ahead of Runs N Throses into Sole Position of 1st place for the Most TBFL Wins ever at 166 games…they extend their streak of scoring 100+ points to 16 Regular Season games…

Warriors 112.25 to 128.55 loss to his brother extends their record for the Most Division Losses to 70 games…and moves them ahead of Bubba Army into Sole Position of 1st place for the Most Regular Season Losses with 139 games…both Warriors and Bay Area Thrashers will have the chance to extend those records further when they play in Week 4…the overall series between the 2 teams is currently tied at 9-9-0…

Gorilla Warfare defeating UO Grandmasters 120.00 to 66.25 extends their record for the Most Division Wins to 68 games…

Week 2 Chump of the Week Money Inc and Week 3 Chump of the Week UO Grandmasters will Face Off in Week 4…this overall series sits tied at 8-8-0 with Money Inc winning the last meeting in the 1st round of the 2018 Empire Cup series…

Fudgie Whales 381.80 points scored after 3 Weeks is their highest ever to open a season…they currently have the best All-Play record in the TBFL at 27-6 (.818)…they will battle X-Factor in Week 4 as both try to reach their 3rd win on the Season…the Whales have won the last 2 Regular Season Games in the series…
