Week One is in the books….only Kevin managed to go “undefeated” with the PUSH on the Tennessee game, but five other players beat the bookie with a 2-1 weekend….Hunter and Shawn are the only ones in the red after week one action. Hit up the Vegas Insider board and start making your Week Two selections now to take advantage of the early lines….full results after the break….

Hunter may have given up ownership of his TBFL Franchise, but that does not mean he is gone. This is the first of his weekly(?) columns for the season breaking down the competition in the Tampa Bay Fantasy League. Chasing Favre is the primary blog for his article posts, but they will also appear here on the TBFL mother ship.
The 2011 Franchise Player Deadline has passed with 66 players being protected by their current teams. A lot of trading took place this year leading up to the deadline between teams that had players to protect and those that did not but had the valuable Round 10 to 12 slots available.

21 Running Backs
11 Quarterbacks
2 Defensive Teams

Quick FAQ:
UFA = Undrafted Free Agent
The number shown for 2010 is the round the player was drafted in.
The number shown for 2011 is the lowest round that player can be franchised.
If you want to franchise two players with the same number (i.e. 12) one can be held in the 12th round, while the other will have to be held in the 11th or higher round.
The Franchise Player Deadline is Sunday, August 28, 2011.
