2015 Franchise Player List
The 2015 Franchise Player deadline has passed and 77 players will be returning to action with their same teams…this is the most since 2012…and 1 short of the record set in 2010 (78 for math challenged)…essentially a full 6.33 rounds of the 2015 TBFL Draft are completed before we even begin. It was quiet for a few weeks…but everyone came alive in the last couple days with a flurry of trading…resulting in a player being franchised in every possible round.
No Kickers received tags this year.

Statistically Speaking – Podium Breakdown
As we continue our march toward the Franchise Player deadline (This Sunday at Noon EST) I am running through last year’s TBFL prediction posts…Every couple of years…Playground Legends owner Danny Miller emerges from the shadows like a forgotten spectre…then rises up to lay down a surprise rant of Smack Talk toward his fellow owners…how long these rants will last until Danny disappears silently back into the ether…no one ever knows…

Statistically Speaking – 2015 BAT-tleship
Not a good sign that I am starting the 2015 TBFL season behind by 2 weeks…especially when I only have 6 days to go till the moved up Franchise Player Deadline (Sunday August 23rd for those not paying attention)…I managed to post every week in 2014 on schedule…and to keep things rolling along…we continue the now tradition of grading the previous year predictions. Last year we had 4 teams participate and each will get a detailed breakdown…but we start as always with a new edition of BAT-tleship and the post Draft predictions of our perennial Fantasy Bowl participant Bay Area Thrashers…The original post can be found HERE…but since MyFantasyLeague will eventually stop archiving it…it is preserved for posterity HERE as well…As in our past posts…each prediction will be examined and then graded as either:

I was answering an owner’s question this morning about where to find some info on our league page (you know who you are)…and realized our 1st season on the MyFantasyLeague software was in 2006…meaning the 2015 TBFL Season will be our 10th year on MFL…

2015 Potential Franchise Players
Quick FAQ:
UFA = Undrafted Free Agent
The number shown for 2014 is the round the player was drafted in.
The number shown for 2015 is the lowest round that player can be franchised.
If you want to franchise two players with the same number (i.e. 12) one can be held in the 12th round, while the other will have to be held in the 11th or higher round.
The Franchise Player Deadline is Sunday, August 23, 2015.
