Yeah…technically the season has started…but the Week 1 Games are not final yet…so the Pre-Season moniker will ride…I am not certain this will end up being a weekly item…so expect Episode Numbering again as opposed to Weeks….but I am getting everything prepared to ATTEMPT it….this is just some stuff to put out there from updating my database today thru the 2018 Season…and making room for the new team…

The 2019 Franchise Player deadline has passed and 64 players will be returning to action with their same team…This is 1 more than last year tying with the 2017 Season for the 2nd Fewest Franchise Tags issued since we started allowing the trading of Draft Picks in 2009…This is the 1st Season since 2013 that we did not have a Franchise Player in every eligible round…in fact we have no players tagged until the 35th pick of the Draft…almost freeing up the entire 3rd round as well…This is the 2nd Season in a row where the Undrafted Free Agent Round was not fully utilized….and the 2nd Season in a row with no Kicker tagged…

The number shown for 2019 is the lowest round that player can be franchised.
If you want to franchise two players with the same number (i.e. 7) one can be held in the 7th round, while the other will have to be held in the 6th or higher round.
The Franchise Player Deadline is Sunday, August 18, 2019.
