No better quote to describe the abyss that is the virtual piggy bank after Week 7…9-17-1 is our 3rd worst weekend of the year throwing another $1,070 worth of gas onto the fire…Gasper, Kevin, and Hernandez found the black side of the ledger at 2-1…but we are all still in the red for the season…
Detroit is the most popular play this weekend with 3 Units wagered on the Under-Field-Goal line…double shots on Chicago, Denver, and New England…and then single plays every where else…Huss is our ‘Hottest’ over the last 3 weeks going 6-3-0 including perfect last week…unless you count betting the opposite of Gasper which would have netted you 7-1-1…Good Luck everybody…

Players wanted to quickly forget the Week 4 outcome as I was bombarded with picks before I even sent out the Tuesday Board…This week should be either Really Good or Really Bad as we are all on only a handful of games…5 players jumped on the early line where New England was getting 2½ at the Hilton…3 plays are on the Saints (with the over)…Double Shots on Kansas City, Seattle, and Atlanta…and Hunter got Kevin to jump in with him on his Lock of the Week – Ohio State…We normally do not allow late entries…but Hernandez just found out about the contest and insisted we let him play…he’s a fellow Dol-Fan and backs his picks up by taking them to the local STIB…so I allowed it…The virtual piggy bank needs all the help it can get…
Oh the poor virtual piggy bank…as the government shuts down…the VPG goes deeper into deficit spending…7-13-4 is only a 35% win rate and puts us another $840 in the hole to sit at -$2,160 on the season…yechh…Only Hunter and his NCAA picks went positive at 2-0-1…five other players managed 1 Win…the 3 other pushes came on both sides of the Houston/Seattle game…Here is the carnage…

Three weeks in and we are still waiting for a big weekend…12-11-1 is a 52.2% win rate…Over .500 on paper…but still -$140 to the virtual piggy bank when the vig is involved…Shawn is the leader with his third 2-1 weekend in a row…Shannon slides back while Gasper climbs up to 5-4 to stay in the BLACK…Huss finds a second Push to stay just ahead of Miller who is in our biggest hole…Everyone else sits at 4-5 with the surface just in sight…
Week 2 got us back in the right direction…lets build on it in Week 3…picks fall all over the board with little duplication…We double up on units for Tampa Bay as a road dog, Dallas as a FG+ favorite at home, and Chicago as a slight road favorite…Everything else is a single shot play with Shawn and Miller going head-2-head on the Green Bay/Cincy matchup…Good luck everybody…
